# We've Moved: Valley Restoration's New Home in Olathe
Valley Restoration & Construction has a new home. Our office is now at 53582 Falcon Road, Olathe, CO 81425. If you've worked with us before, or you've had our number saved in your phone for the day something goes wrong, here's the short version: the address changed, and almost nothing else did.
Our phone number is still (970) 964-4437, and it's still answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our crew is the same, and so is our service area: Montrose, Delta, Ouray, Ridgway and Gunnison, plus the communities in between.
Why Olathe?
Olathe sits on Highway 50 between Montrose and Delta, right in the middle of the valley we've served since Valley Restoration started. For a restoration company, location matters for one reason above all: getting a crew and equipment to your door quickly when water, fire or mold won't wait.
The new space gives us room for what restoration work actually requires: drying equipment, extraction units, air movers, dehumidifiers, containment supplies and the trucks that carry them. Having everything staged in one place helps us load up and roll out faster when a call comes in, whether that call comes from a basement in Delta, a kitchen in Montrose or a cabin outside Ridgway.
What Stays the Same
Moving the office doesn't change how we work.
- 24/7 emergency response. Burst pipes, sewer backups and storm damage don't keep business hours. Call (970) 964-4437 any time, day or night.
- The same local crew. We're still a locally owned Western Slope company, and the people who show up at your door are your neighbors.
- The same standards. Our technicians are trained to IICRC S500/S520/S700 standards for water damage, mold remediation and fire and smoke restoration.
- The same service area. We continue to serve Montrose, Delta, Ouray, Ridgway and Gunnison.
- The same services. Water damage restoration, mold cleanup, fire and smoke restoration, radon mitigation, property cleanup, junk removal and remodeling, including the rebuild after a loss.
What You Should Update
If you've saved our information anywhere, here's what to change:
- Address: 53582 Falcon Road, Olathe, CO 81425
- Phone: (970) 964-4437 (no change)
- Website: [valleydrc.com](/)
If you're a property manager, insurance agent, adjuster or contractor who sends work our way, please update your vendor records with the new physical address. If you mail us anything, check with our office first so it goes to the right place.
You may still see our old Montrose address on a few online directories for a while. We're working through those listings and updating them. If the address you find doesn't match the one above, the address on this website is the current one.
Do You Need to Come to the Office?
Usually not. Restoration work happens at your property, not ours. When you call, we'll talk through what happened, and in most emergencies we send a crew to you to assess the damage, stop it from spreading and start drying or cleanup. Estimates, moisture readings and documentation are done on site.
If you'd like to stop by the Olathe office for a scheduled meeting, call ahead at (970) 964-4437 so we can make sure someone is there. Our crews spend a lot of the day out on jobs.
What Happens When You Call
The move doesn't change what happens when you pick up the phone, either. Here's what to expect:
1. Someone answers. Day or night, you'll talk to a person about what happened: where the water, smoke or mold is, how long it's been going on and whether it's still active. 2. We help you make it safe. If water is still running, we'll walk you through finding the shut-off. If there's a safety concern, such as water near electrical or a sagging ceiling, we'll tell you what to stay away from. 3. A crew comes to you. We assess the damage on site, take moisture readings, explain what we find and lay out the plan before work starts. 4. We document for insurance. Photos, readings and notes on what was removed and why help keep your claim moving. If you have questions about the claim process, our guide on working with your insurance company is a good place to start. 5. We see it through. From drying and cleanup to the rebuild, one local team can handle the job.
A Quick Reminder as Winter Comes In
Our move comes right as the cold weather arrives on the Western Slope, which is when we see many of our water damage calls. A few things worth doing now:
1. Find your main water shut-off valve and make sure everyone in the house knows where it is. 2. Disconnect garden hoses and drain outdoor spigots before the first hard freeze. 3. Keep the heat at 55°F or above if you're traveling, including in second homes and cabins. 4. Save our number in your phone: (970) 964-4437.
For more winter prep, read our guide to preventing frozen pipes and ice dams in mountain homes.
Thank You
Every job we do comes from someone in this valley trusting us with their home or business on a bad day. That trust is the reason we've been able to grow into a space like this, and we don't take it lightly.
Nothing about the move changes our commitment: answer the phone, show up, explain what's going on in plain language and put your property back the way it should be.
